fadaly.net is a personal site. It does not sell user data, run ad networks, or share information with third parties for marketing.
What's collected
- Analytics (anonymous, consent-gated). If you accept the cookie banner, Google Analytics records anonymized page views and traffic sources. IP anonymization is on. No cross-site profile is built. Decline the banner and nothing is collected.
- Server access logs (default). The hosting provider (Vercel) logs request metadata — timestamp, requested URL, country-level geolocation, user-agent — for normal operations and security. Standard for any web host.
- Email you send me. If you reach out via mo@fadaly.net, I keep the email like any other correspondence. I don't add you to any mailing list.
Cookies
One first-party preference cookie (fdl_consent) records whether you accepted
or declined analytics. If you accepted, Google Analytics writes its own first-party cookies
(_ga, _ga_*) to deduplicate visits. No third-party tracking
cookies are set without consent.
Your rights
You can clear your cookie preferences at any time via your browser's cookie settings. To request deletion of analytics data tied to your IP/session, email mo@fadaly.net with the approximate date range and I'll forward the request to Google.
Changes
If this notice changes materially, the date at the top will be updated. There's no mailing list to notify, by design.
